Aaah, the atmosphere!
Interesting name for a camera, though. If I were going to name a camera, the first thing that comes to mind might not be something that hits the atmosphere at 47,000 miles per hour and then vaporizes in a blinding flash .

The Meteor was produced by the Universal Camera Corporation of "New York, Chicago and Hollywood". Another camera that promises big things: "The 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 camera for 'Professional' results." I suppose that could mean that if the picture doesn't turn out, you can blame it on the color separator. For a cheesy camera, this is ultra-sophisticated - it has a focusing lens, four marked continuously variable f-stops, from 11 through 32, a time and instant switch, a flash shoe, a tripod socket and an extinction meter. The lens telescopes out of the body for use, and when collapsed, prevents unintentional multiple exposures. Takes good ol' 620 film.
I like this camera well enough to go through the trouble of respooling 120 onto 620 spools.
