There must be ten zillion Imperial cameras of one descrption or another slowly deteriorating in closets all over the planet. Here's one now:
The Imperial Delta is another 127 camera, cranking out 8 square exposures per roll, which probably explains why the format died out. Although entirely plastic, the Delta is a solid camera, built like a little tank. I found two Deltas, both still in their original boxes, at an Antique Mall near Kansas City. I HAD to buy them, didn't I? To help keep them straight, I gnawed the patented edge notches into the film plane. Just think of them as $3.00 plastic Hasselblads. The images from the Imperial Deltas are fairly crisp, but with a not-unpleasant focus fall-off at the edges.
