The Genos Rapid is arguably the best engineered camera of the bunch, but it is, after all, manufactured in Germany, and a certain degree is Teutonic precision is expected. Two-piece Bakelite body accepts 120 roll fim. Loads of control options, too - a built-in filter - it was probably at one time meant to be an orange correction filter for black and white, but now is a sort of pale salmon color like an 85A CC filter. It also comes with a flip-in waterhouse stop and a switch for instant and time exposures.
Any real level of expectation in life is likely to lead to disappointment, and the Genos produces a disappointingly soft, uninteresting and imprecise image, regardless of how hard you try to create something even close to sharp.
