Babette

Babette! This camera has GOT to be the cheesiest thing I've ever laid eyes on.
Here it is in its original packaging.
You've got to love a camera that has a hole for hanging on a store j-hook.

 
But wait, there's more. Look at the price area:

They actually expected this camera to sell for less than a dollar!!!

The Babette takes 127 film in the familar "two-window" format, giving 16 exposures per roll. I may never get the Babette to actually function - the shutter bits don't really cooperate, and there seems little reason to risk shattering the lens barrel trying to get at them.

They just don't get any cheesier, kids. But isn't it cute?
